After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set out on a full-day excursion to the mesmerizing Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The glacial lake is considered sacred and offers a surreal view of the snow-covered surroundings. Continue to the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a temple built in honor of a soldier who is believed to guard the borders spiritually. Depending on permit availability and weather conditions, you may opt for an additional visit to Nathula Pass, an Indo-China border point (at an extra cost). Return to Gangtok by evening. Rise early for a breathtaking journey to the high-altitude Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft), one of the highest and most sacred lakes in the world. En route, pass through the dramatic Chopta Valley, a region adorned with wildflowers and stunning mountain views.
