Known for its historical ruins, mythological tales, and scenic beauty, Tezpur offers a tranquil introduction to Assam. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, you can explore Agnigarh Hill, which offers panoramic views and legends from Hindu mythology, or visit Chitralekha Udyan, a charming park with lakes and heritage sculptures
After a refreshing breakfast at the hotel, head out for a morning excursion to Nameri National Park, located at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. This beautiful park is a haven for bird watchers and nature lovers, known for its rich biodiversity and tranquil landscapes. Enjoy a guided jungle walk through dense forests and riverine grasslands, and if conditions permit, you can opt for soft river rafting on the Jia Bhoroli River. Return to Tezpur in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore the local market for souvenirs

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth, famous for its mist-covered valleys and cascading waterfalls. On the way, visit Elephant Falls, a scenic three-tier waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. Once in Cherrapunjee, explore key attractions like Nohkalikai Falls (the tallest plunge waterfall in India), Seven Sisters Falls, and the Mawsmai Limestone Caves. Also visit Eco Park, which offers panoramic views of the plains of Bangladesh. Check into your hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening in nature
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, and if time and energy permit, you may take a short trek to visit places like Arwah Cave or Dainthlen Falls, which offer a more serene and less touristy experience. Begin your return journey to Shillong by midday. On arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening relaxing or exploring the local cafés, churches, or scenic walking routes like Ward's Lake
After breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to Mawlynnong, renowned as “Asia’s Cleanest Village.” Wander through its pristine paths, bamboo skywalk, and visit the unique Living Root Bridge, naturally grown and woven by the Khasi tribes. Then proceed to Dawki, a border town famous for the Umngot River, known for its crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a boat ride where the boat seems to float on air. Also, visit the Indo-Bangladesh border post. Return to Shillong in the evening and relax at your hotel

Continue to Don Bosco Museum, a multi-story center showcasing the art, culture, and heritage of Northeast India. Return to your hotel for the night
After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Guwahati, where your journey concludes. Depending on your departure time, you may visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, a major Shakti Peetha located atop Nilachal Hill, or explore local markets for souvenirs. You will then be dropped off at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, bringing your unforgettable Northeast adventure to a close
